2025 Annual Meeting

The 2025 Toghotthele Annual Meeting of Shareholders was held on December 30, 2025, in Nenana at the Nenana Civic Center. Due to frozen pipes, the Mitch Demientieff Tribal Hall was unavailable. Even in the cold temperatures, turnout was positive and the outlook towards the future was optimistic. Things that were discussed were better communication and the need for training to be prepared for the opportunities a new gas line could bring to our area.

Board Candidates were slim this year, with Terry Sunnyboy running as a write in candidate against the incumbents, Christina Sunnyboy, Mary King, and Theresa Lord. Terry gathered 7,753.297 votes, Mary King 8,721.514, Theresa at 11,975.312 and Christina at 12,021.491 votes. Incumbents retained their seats on the board. Our current board members are Carrie Irwin-Brown, Kelly Monroe, Mary King, Theresa Lord, Christina Sunnyboy, William "Spud" Williams, Donald Charlie, Russell Ketzler, and Leonard Jensen.

A special thanks to our cook Terry Puryear and our local election judge Brianna Ketzler, Tom McClellan and Leanne Bloom of the certified accounting firm RJG, Deborah Norcross of Balanced Bookkeeping LLC for the year-round effort, Lucy Charlie for helping get distributions and proxies mailed out, Megan (Nenana Ice Classic) and JT Baker (Nenana Native Association) for the assistance moving our meeting to the Civic Center at the last minute, all the shareholders who reach out and engage with us, and our staff and board of Toghotthele.

May the New Year bring you joy!
