Tene Hut'anne Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Location: Alaska, DC, Pacific Region or Huntsville, AL. Telecommute a possibility.

Job Summary

Tene Hut’aane LLC is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Chief Operations Officer (COO) with experience in Construction and Federal Government 8(a) contracting.  The COO will oversee Tene Projects, LLC and report to the Executive Management Team of Tene Hut’aane LLC, the holding company, and maintain regular communication with the President, and the Executive Team as appropriate.

The COO will have responsibility for start-up operations to include profit and loss, sales, project management and proposal development (including technical writing and estimating).  They will lead a staff of 3-10 direct reports, including operators.   The GM must be a motivated “change agent” who is willing to grow the company and successfully move the company culture forward. The COO will develop succession planning for the position that will ultimately incorporate the mentorship, training and development of highly qualified tribal members.

This position requires US residency and routine travel to bona fide office locations to manage compliance with contractual obligations.  Strong current and/or past relationships with federal agencies are a plus.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wood and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products.

A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and company safety policy is essential.

The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.
